Hi, I'm Cheryl, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I went to school. Got a degree. Got another degree. Worked for a while. Went back to college. Got another degree. Worked some more. Was run over by a steamroller; it backed up over me and did it again. Fell more deeply in love with God and Jesus, while still running frantically from the Holy Spirit ...then realizing He lives in me and I can't run from myself.
On a serious side, I received my B.S. in Psychology in 1984 from Southeast Missouri State University and continued there to receive my M.A. in Psychological Counseling in 1985. I have experience as a Clinical Therapist, Psychological Examiner, Academic Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor. In 2000, I completed my Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have a heart for children and teenagers, including a history of being a champion for them within the courtroom. I enjoy helping people get the most of their counseling experience by providing full scale mental health evaluations.
